When setting up a client’s fence, we take the following steps;

We figure out where to place the fence charger. The charger is the unit that contains the solar panel and will power the fence. The charger needs to be in a place where it will receive the maximum sunlight possible throughout the day. It also needs to be in a place from which it will be easy to run the fence, so we can cover the perimeter of the area the client wants to fence off.

We measure how far the client needs to run the electric fence. We make sure that the client gets a charger that is powerful enough to sustain power at the end of the fence opposite to the charger.

We decide how powerful a solar fence the client needs. Electric fences range from a light shock to a powerful jolt. When buying a solar fence for livestock, a more powerful fence is needed because of their thick hide. If you are trying to keep your dog from digging out, you don't need as powerful a fence.

We suggest to our clients on the need to buy a fence that will fit in the desired spot. Some solar fence chargers can be quite heavy. We advice clients to buy fence chargers that are mountable for added convenience.

We supply the fence and Charger and get on with setting it up.
